The only reasonable and adequate response is our expression of worship. As we worship, God has promised His presence. We can always experience God in worship!

Arizona Worship Conference

Lifeway Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention and Family Life Radio announce the first ever Seven Words of Worship Conference to be held in Tucson, AZ, May 1-3, at Victory Worship Center in Tucson.

The Friday night, and Saturday conference is a state-wide event open to all who desire a great biblical foundation for worship and a lifestyle of worship in spirit and in truth. The content will benefit pastors, worship leaders, worship teams, and worshipers from all churches and denominations.

The conference will provide a great opportunity experience God in worship, along with several teaching segments that build a clear biblical foundation for “who” we worship and “why” we worship.

Seven Words of Worship, The Key to a Lifetime of Experiencing God, is Lifeway’s definitive statement on worship. The Bible Study and DVD Leaders Kit were released in January to Lifeway Christian Stores and other trade outlets.

The featured speaker and worship leader for the conference will be co-author of the resource, Mike Harland. Mike is the Director of Worship for LifeWay Christian Resources, the largest Christian resource company in the world.

The conference begins Friday night, May 1, at 7:00 PM, and continues on Saturday, May 2 from 9 AM through 5 PM. Mike will also lead a citywide worship gathering on Sunday night, May 3, at Victory Worship Center. This will be the first citywide event in the new Victory Worship Center sanctuary.

Saturday, May 2nd, 9 AM-12 and 2-5 PM

Sunday, May 3, 6 PM city-wide worship
(open to the public no charge)

Early registration: $25 for individual or
$20 per person for groups (5 or more)

*Cost of conference includes a Seven Words of Worship book ($12.95 retail value)

After April 12: $35 for individual and $25 per person for groups (5 or more).

On Tuesday, August 19, Mike Harland dropped by the set of FamilyNet's "Mornings" show to discuss Seven Words of Worship. In the book, Harland and co-author Stan Moser attempt to clarify the reader's understanding of what worship really is. They explain that it has nothing to do with style but with the attitude of the heart.
