Dr. J. Kent Edwards is Professor of Preaching and Leadership and the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Talbot School of Theology / BIOLA University. He is past president of the Evangelical Homiletics Society, an Executive Board member of the Association for Doctor of Ministry Education (ADME) and the editor of The Journal of Christian Ministry. Dr. Edwards is the author of the award-winning book Effective First-Person Biblical Preaching (Zondervan, 20005.) Dr. Edwards has over 25 years of experience as pastor and church planter and currently serves as Senior Pastor of the Woodland Hills Church in Los Angeles.
