Vicki Courtney Wins ECPA Christian Book Award for TEENVIRTUE: CONFIDENTIAL
Author's next book, Five Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter, in stores November 1
The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) announced the 2008 Christian Book Award winners on July 13 from the International Christian Retail Show in Orlando, Florida. Among the six honorees was best-selling author and speaker Vicki Courtney whose TeenVirtue: Confidential won in the Children & Youth category.
A follow-up to TeenVirtue (also an ECPA award winner), the book is designed to look and feel like a magazine while dependably answering the questions every teenage girl has about "God, guys, and getting older."
Vicki Courtney, a mother of three, has become a leading "in the trenches" voice for concerned parents raising their children in an age of high technology and crumbling moral standards. The founder of Virtuous Reality Ministries, she has provided expert youth culture commentary on both CNN and FOX News and authored other highly acclaimed books such as Between (like TeenVirtue for tweenagers), Logged On and Tuned Out and Your Girl. Her next release, Five Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter, hits stores November 1.
