
B&H Wins Three 2009 Retailers Choice Awards
B&H Publishing Group received three honors among the 2009 Retailers Choice Awards, announced July 13 at the International Christian Retail Show in Denver, Colorado, and sponsored by Christian Retailing magazine. Nominated products were judged on the impact they have had on staff and customers, including their ability to speak to hearts and evoke emotion, open minds to new ways of thinking and encourage and affirm Christlike living.
The Love Dare by Stephen and Alex Kendrick won top recognition in the Relationships category. The 40-day marriage book first featured in the hit film Fireproof is a current New York Times best seller and has three million copies in print.
American Heroes by Oliver North emerged as winner in the Social Issues division. Also a New York Times best seller, this book pays tribute to those engaged in the fight against radical Islam.
John: 90 Days with the Beloved Disciple by Beth Moore received the Retailers Choice Award in the Women's Nonfiction category. It is the third book in Moore's best-selling Personal Reflections devotional series that also includes volumes on David and Jesus.
