B&H launches EveryDayWithJesusBible.com

By Staff

In mid-November, LifeWay’s Broadman & Holman division unveiled the Every Day with Jesus Bible Web site through LifeWay.com as an online medium that provides resources and support for people and churches studying the Every Day with Jesus Bible.

The Web site features content from Broadman & Holman’s Every Day with Jesus Bible that was specially designed to assist people embracing the Southern Baptist Convention’s resolution that declared 2005 the Year of the Bible and encouraged people to read through the entire Bible in one year.

“The site gives Southern Baptist churches a tool to make the SBC resolution come alive,” said Steve NeSmith, LifeWay’s director of Broadman & Holman e-business sales and marketing.

The site offers a printable version of the Every Day with Jesus Bible daily reading plan, a tool NeSmith said will aid individuals as well as ministers. “People can keep up with the reading schedule online, and pastors can plan their sermons months in advance to correspond with the current readings.”

The site also offers downloadable resources such as letterhead, postcards and bulletin inserts that NeSmith said churches can use to promote the Year of the Bible among their members. EverydayWithJesusBible.com also gives people the opportunity to register for daily e-mail devotionals that include material from Selwyn Hughes, author of the popular “Every Day with Jesus” daily devotionals.

In 15 days, the e-newsletter received more than 2,500 subscribers, making it the fastest growing Broadman & Holman e-newsletter to date. Return to top

“I’ve already gotten favorable responses from pastors and churches that really like the resources,” NeSmith said.

“It’s a useful product and valuable resource for the consumers.”

Churches that are planning an emphasis on the Year of the Bible also can find a five-step outline to accomplish that goal as well as a printable checklist. Return to top

“I hope the Web site takes the product and really makes it come alive for individuals and ministries,” NeSmith said.

The new Web site is located at www.everydaywithjesusbible.com
