Scripture:
O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity; Take words with you, and return to the Lord. (Hos. 14:1)

Thought:
Spiritual awakening begins only as believers face God's discipline for sin and cry out to God in repentance. Will you join those thousands today who are confessing sins explicitly to God and finding His love anew? Will you return to Him and see iniquity taken away?

Prayer:
Forgiver of sin,You know my sin, but I need to confess it to You. Take away my laziness, my lust, my lack of commitment, my loyalties to things rather than to You. I return to You and pray for spiritual awakening in our church and our city today. Amen.
