Scripture:
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. (Col. 2:6-7)

Thought:
God has one basic commandment: walk in Christ. That means that your life is to become an image, a reflection of Christ's life. A walk in Christ shows that you are established in the faith and gives you reason to live each day giving thanks for what Christ is doing. Has God freed you to be like Christ, or are you still imprisoned by the world's ways?

Prayer:
You who make us free, we no longer find sin ruling and dominating our life. Now we can love You and serve You which is what we are created to do. Control each step I take, each word I speak, each relationship I form so that Christ shines in all. Amen.
