Scripture:
I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. (Mark 1:8)

Thought:
The key to knowing God's voice is not a formula or a method you can follow. You are going to have to watch to see how God uniquely communicates with you. John the Baptist let God speak through him to communicate the mission of the One whose way he prepared. Jesus' mission was to give you the Holy Spirit so God could speak to you. Are you listening to that Spirit to discover where God is at work?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit of God, You are always at work in the heart of Your people to guide us to the work the Father is doing. Help me be attentive to Your voice. In Your own unique way make me aware of Your mission for me. Amen.
