Scripture:
Then Hanamel my uncle's son came...and said to me, "Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption yours; buy it for yourself." Then I knew that this with the word of the Lord. (Jer. 32:8)

Thought:
Jeremiah struggled with the assignment he had been given. He had announced the destruction and capture of the land which meant all property was worthless. God told him to follow His law and buy property to keep it in his family. Financial advisors would call him foolish. God called him faithful. What does God call you?

Prayer:
Exasperating Master, human reason advises against joining in Your work. Faith says, OPlunge ahead.O I will do it Your way. Amen.
