Autopsy of a Deceased Church, Transformational Groups, and Recovering Redemption among winners
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 9, 2015) B&H Publishing Group is proud to announce multiple winners from the 2014 Outreach Resource Awards. Winners in the Leadership category include Autopsy of a Deceased Church by Thom S. Rainer and finalist Transformational Groups by Ed Stetzer and Eric Geiger. In the Counseling category, Recovering Redemption by Matt Chandler and Michael Snetzer was a finalist.
For the 12th consecutive year, Outreach magazine is celebrating some of the best outreach-oriented books and curricula by honoring them as Outreach Resources of the Year. These will be highlighted in their upcoming March/April issue. More than 170 resources were submitted for consideration.
The Outreach Resources of the Year aim to highlight valuable resources for church leaders and bring deserved attention to resources that can help churches better engage in effective outreach to share the gospel and reach our communities for Christ.

Published in February 2014, Ed Stetzer and Eric Geiger’s Transformational Groups was written to help small group leaders create a new scorecard for how groups can transform their church. Using data from the largest survey of pastors and laypersons ever done in North America on the condition of groups in the church, they define a simple process to lead groups from where they are to where God wants them to be.
