TeenVirtue: Real Issues, Real Life...A Teen Girl's Survival Guide
Author: Vicki Courtney

There have been a proliferation of books on the market for young woman extolling virtue and purity and the value of the Christian lifestyle.

But are young girls reading books on virtue and spiritual growth? Or are they reading the teen counterparts to what they perceive as the sophisticated popular adult magazines that promise to reveal (at least the latest) secrets to beauty, fashion, thinness, love, and happiness?

Vicki Courtney knows teen girls. Her message is exactly what they need to hear to counter the culture’s lies and distortions about who they are and what they should become.

TeenVirtue will give them the information they need in a format they will read. Designed like a stylish magazine, TeenVirtue tackles the top 40 issues teen girls face such as "Staying inline when you're online," "the Sexy Craze," and "Girl Politics."

Apr 30 2005 12:15AM  I agree/have experienced with so many of her topics
Today I went to the store to help my sister buy a gift for her friend and found myself looking at this magazine. I bought it and have been reading it since and have just finished. I agree with so many things Vicki Courtney was saying. Its really awesome that she goes at points that not many cover. Many "christians" today dont speek up for what is right or just dont care. The Teen Virtue really tackled some things that have been on my mind or that always are and it is comforting to be able to read something that will help u grow in your relationship with God. I'm 16 and so many of the topics she tackled I have or am going through. They are seen as such an average thing and it is so amazing to find something that lets you know that what your doing is right and that God is always there for u even when the world isn't.

I would recomend this book to any teenage girl! It talks about so many of the issuses that face girls theese days. For example what you are displaying when you wear revealing chlothes. Also I liked the part where they interviewed 25 guys and gave girls tips on different things. This book not only talks about things but shows you where they are in the Bible and how to deal with things. I am forever changed by this one simple book.

I liked this magazine because it talked about real issues that teenage girls are struggling with, pointing them in the right direction, and encouraging them to seek God through this confusing time in their lives.

May 5 2005 8:33AM  Wonderful!!
I have teenage neices that are not active in church and when I ran across this magazine right before Christmas, I grabbed up every copy they had! All the girls I've given them to were absolutely thrilled. What a great idea to put the New Testament in this colorful format. It makes you want to pick it up and find out what's inside. The articles are consistent with what teens are going through today and they can enjoy reading current trends and consuming biblical truths at the same time. Thank you so much for this timely product.
