Welcome to the Official Website of the Wilderking Trilogy by Jonathan Rogers. The first book, <em>The Bark of the Bog Owl</em> (2004) parallels the story of David in the Old Testament. Aidan is a shepherd boy who is as surprised as everyone else when he is anointed by the old bard. Along the way we meet some interesting friends and have amazing adventures, as Aidan protects his land and friends from a lion and makes friends in the swamp, then faces a giant warrior. <em>The Secret of the Swamp King </em>(2005), the second book in the series, continues the tale as Aidan is invited into the king's home and befriends his son.
