NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three B&H Publishing Group novels are among the finalists selected for the 2012 Book of the Year Awards as determined by trade journal ForeWord Reviews.
A Plain Death by Amanda Flower is nominated in the Religious Adult Fiction category. The first book in her Appleseed Creek Mystery series was described by USA Today as “the first Amish rom-com” in a favorable review that encouraged the author to “bring on the next one!” The follow-up was released last month.

Lost and Found
by Ginny L. Yttrup is also nominated in the Religious Adult Fiction category. She won this honor last year for her debut novel, Words. Yttrup’s fiction was hailed by Publishers Weekly for its ability to “challenge the reader to pursue spiritual growth as fully as any self-help book would.” Her next book, Invisible, will be released April 1.

Double Blind
by renowned Seatbelt Suspense® author Brandilyn Collins is a finalist in the Thriller/Suspense Adult Fiction category. Library Journal gave the novel a starred review, calling it “another taut, compelling tale.” Collins is a three-time American Christian Fiction Writers Book of the Year winner.
