B&H Author Julianna Zobrist Sings National Anthem and God Bless America at Game 3 of the MLB American League Championship Series
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (October 7, 2013) Julianna Zobrist, nationally known pop music artist and the wife of two-time All-Star second baseman Ben Zobrist of the Rays sang the National Anthem and God Bless America at the American League Divisional Series Playoff game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox. The playoff game was televised October 7 on TBS from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Julianna Zobrist remarked, “I was incredibly honored and blessed to be able to sing our National Anthem in front of such a great crowd.  Most of all I loved being on the same field with Ben.  How many wives get to accompany their husbands onto their work space?  I am very thankful to the Rays organization for giving me this opportunity.”
The Rays came from behind to win in dramatic fashion over the Boston Red Sox 5-4. On the horizon for Ben and Julianna Zobrist, they will be release their first book entitled, Double Play, in April 2014 from B&H Publishing Group. Julianna will be release her third record at the same time.
