B&H Promotes Jennifer Lyell to Trade Book Publisher


NASHVILLE, Tenn., 3/01/2013 – B&H Publishing Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Lyell to the position of B&H Trade Book publisher. Her new role involves managing the entire trade book department, which includes the Christian Living, Fiction, Leadership, and Women’s product lines, providing strategic oversight, and strengthening processes for internal and external partners.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve B&H more broadly in my new role and am excited about being a part of an organization that is strengthening and growing in the midst of great cultural needs and industry challenges,” Lyell said.

In her previous role as executive editor of the B&H Women’s line, Lyell spearheaded the 2012 re-release of The New York Times No. 1 bestseller The Vow by Kim and Krickett Carpenter. She also acquired best-selling authors Priscilla Shirer, Angie Smith, and Candace Cameron Bure. Upcoming new titles she has developed for fall 2013 include Whispers of Hope by Beth Moore and Operation Christmas Child by Franklin Graham.

Prior to joining B&H in 2008, Lyell was the women’s acquisitions editor at Moody Publishers in Chicago, Illinois. She holds degrees from Southern Illinois University (Bachelor of Arts) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) in Louisville, Kentucky.
