We wanted to create a ministry tool that would be both encouraging and spiritually uplifting to music pastors and their choirs. There is something very special about a group of folks reading the same devotion together each day and sharing insights and testimonies with one another as they take this journey.

The book applies to all types of groups (not just choirs) who want to study the Word together and move forward in their spiritual lives in unity with one another.

The contributors are both close personal friends—folks I have known for a long time—and admired colleagues in ministry. I respect each of them, and it has been a joy to partner with them on this unique project. I have had the unique privilege of composing music that many of them have used in their churches, and many have traveled the world with us in ministry with Celebration Concert Tours.

We created this for believers who want to be encouraged and strengthened in their faith and in their daily walk with the Lord. Although it is created by music pastors and music professors, the book’s devotions bring messages that cross all barriers and are created out of lives that have served the Lord faithfully for many years.

It is my hope that each reader continues to draw closer to the Lord and enjoy his intimate presence. The Westminster “Shorter Catechism” puts it this way: “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.”
