Daniel Darling
Daniel Darling is an author, pastor and thought leader. He is the Director of The Land Center for Cultural Engagement at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Assistant Professor of Faith and Culture at Texas Baptist College.
Dan has served in a variety of senior executive positions. He has also pastored churches in Illinois and Tennessee. He is also a columnist for World and a contributor to USA Today.
Dan is an author, co-author, or editor of 20 books. Dan is an award–winning writer whose work has appeared in numerous publications including Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, National Review, First Things and The Washington Post. Darling has spoken at churches and conferences around the country and has lectured at Union University, Oklahoma Baptist University, North Greenville University, William Carey University, Southwest Assemblies of God University, Taylor University, Judson College, William Carey University, North Greenville University, and Dallas Baptist University. He serves as a research fellow for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission and is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Dan is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served churches in Illinois and Tennessee. He and his wife Angela have four children and are members of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
