Asimismo, es la autora de varios libros. Michelle ha conducido y ha sido invitada a participar en cientos de programas de televisión y radio, como “Midday Connection” (Encuentro al mediodía) de NBC, El Club 700, y la cadena TBN, entre otros. En 1999 Michelle fundó la revista para mujeres, Shine (Brilla), que presentaba artículos sobre la moda, viajes y la salud. Como directora de redacción de la publicación entrevistó a líderes reconocidos como la Primera Dama Laura Bush, Anne Graham Lotz, Michael W.
