B&H Publishing Group’s Pure Enjoyment Fiction Line Adds Authors

NASHVILLE, Tenn., 2/22/2012 – Having acquired and developed recent CBA best sellers Beside Still Waters (Tricia Goyer), Rooms (James L. Rubart), and Words (Ginny L. Yttrup), B&H Publishing Group announces the signing of several new and noted authors to its Pure Enjoyment fiction line.

Amanda Flower
and Amy Lillard are rising writers whose fresh voices will delight readers of Amish fiction. Flower, a librarian in Ohio whose first novel gained acclaim in Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews, releases A Plain Death: An Appleseed Creek Mystery in July 2012. Lillard, whose writing has won numerous awards in and around her home state of Oklahoma, brings an added dash of romance to the genre in October 2012 with Saving Gideon.

Gail Sattler
, Kathi Macias, and Debby Mayne—trusted authors with more than one million books sold among them—have been contracted to write a series of novels set in the charming town of Bloomfield, a character-driven, Lake Wobegon-meets-Mitford type of locale. The series begins with Sattler’s Take the Trophy and Run, available everywhere in November 2012.

In summer 2013, new releases are slated from Angel Award winner Alton Gansky (supernatural thriller), Christy Award winner Kaye Dacus (the first in a Regency Era trilogy), and the inspiring duo of Cheryl McKay and Rene Gutteridge (The Ultimate Gift, Never the Bride) who have devised a great plot for the contemporary women’s novel Greetings from the Flipside.

“We are so grateful for the reader response to the Pure Enjoyment line and excited to share these newly acquired authors and titles with our audience,” said Julie Gwinn, B&H fiction editor and marketing manager. “We are intent on pursuing the right projects for our readers—a balanced assortment of excellent novels in the historical, contemporary, romance, and thriller genres.”

Other B&H novelists include Brandilyn Collins, Gilbert Morris, Jamie Carie, Robin Caroll, Kim Alexis & Mindy Starns Clark, Pamela Binnings Ewen, and Major (Ret) Jeff Struecker.
