Candace Cameron Bure’s Reshaping It All Hits New York Times Best Sellers List

NASHVILLE, Tenn., 2/28/2011 – Reshaping It All: Motivation for Spiritual and Physical Fitness (B&H Publishing Group) by actress Candace Cameron Bure (Full House, Make It or Break It) has debuted at No. 13 on The New York Times’ paperback advice & miscellaneous best sellers list. Recently featured in People magazine and on NBC’s Today, the book reveals Bure’s inspiring victory over food addiction and explains how she keeps a healthy outlook on weight despite Hollywood’s toothpick-thin expectations.

Now married with three kids, Candace is indeed a rare Hollywood mom who maintains a normal life—no trainer, no nanny, no chef—and is outspoken about how her Christian faith has helped to overcome certain obstacles, like a serious struggle with food. Reshaping It All helps women begin to embrace a healthier lifestyle by moving faith to the forefront, making some wise fundamental choices about diet and exercise, and finding their worth in God’s eyes.
“I knew who God was, but I still hadn’t grasped who I was in His sight,” writes Bure. With everything in proper perspective, she also says, “I’m twenty-five pounds lighter than I was on Full House, have a full house of my own, and feel better than ever!”

Jennifer Lyell, executive editor for Women’s Books at B&H Publishing Group, says, “Candace has said that first and foremost she is a wife and mom. Her career as an actress comes after those most important roles. What we have observed from the tremendous response to Reshaping It All is that readers really resonate with her as a wife, a mom, and as a trusted friend they’ve grown up alongside. They connect with her as a woman not so different than them. Her struggles, victories, and resulting guidance are not those of a sensational Hollywood tell-all, but rather of a day-to-day reality with which we can all identify and respond. As such, we’re receiving reports already of lives and lifestyles transformed and look forward with anticipation to that continuing.”
