La Oración releases November 1, 2016.

Nashville, Tenn. (September 6, 2016)– B&H Español is proud to announce the release of five Timothy Keller books in Spanish, including La Oración: Experimentando Asombro e Intimidad Con Dios, the Spanish version of the New York Times bestseller Prayer: Experiencing Awe and Intimacy with God (Penguin Books, 2014).
Prayer was Desiring God’s #1 Book of the Year in 2014 and hit the New York Times bestseller list. Keller, a renowned pastor and bestselling author, gives readers practical guidance on making prayer genuinely meaningful, personal, practical, and powerful. He delves into the many facets of prayer, offering biblical guidance as well as specific prayers for certain situations such as dealing with grief, loss, love, and forgiveness. The Spanish version, La Oración, will hit bookshelves November 2016.
Over the next year, B&H Español will publish a total of five popular Keller titles in Spanish through a partnership with Redeemer City to City, a leadership development organization founded by Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, New York. The titles are:

  • La Oración (Prayer), available November 2016
  • ¿Es Razonable Creer en Dios? (The Reason for God), available April 2017
  • El Significado Del Matrimonio (The Meaning of Marriage), available April 2017
  • La Predicación (Preaching), available Summer 2017
  • Making Sense of God (Spanish title not finalized), available in Spanish October 2017

Keller is the author of over twenty books, including The Reason for God, Generous Justice, and The Prodigal God. He is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. His books have sold more than one million copies worldwide.
“B&H Español is pleased to partner with Redeemer City to City in order to make key titles from Timothy Keller available to Spanish speakers in the U.S. and abroad,” said Cristopher Garrido, Publisher for B&H Español. “The church is exploding throughout Latin America. Likewise, the Spanish-speaking church is the only segment of the U.S. evangelical church having significant growth. We’re excited to see how books like Prayer and Preaching will help shape these practices in the Latino church, while titles like The Meaning of Marriage and The Reason for God will help believers live out their faith in all spheres of life and whatever their current life stage.”
