She Reads Truth™ Releases First Book: Authors Myers and Williams Encourage Women to Understand The Truth of God’s Word Like Never Before
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 12, 2016) – Since the ministry began in 2012, She Reads Truth has become the fastest growing online Bible reading community, encouraging over one million women to read and love Scripture. In October 2016, She Reads Truth founders Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams will continue helping women understand how God’s Word works in their lives with the release of their first book, She Reads Truth: Holding Tight to Permanent in a World That’s Passing Away.

Published by B&H Publishing Group, She Reads Truth tells the stories of two women who discovered only God and His Word remain unchanged as the world around them slipped away. Myers, CEO of She Reads Truth, and Williams, chief content officer of She Reads Truth, weave Scripture throughout the ups and downs of their personal stories, recognizing the Truth that never changes, no matter our circumstances.
She Reads Truth is the first trade release in a multi-year partnership between B&H Publishing Group, Lifeway Christian Resources, and the She Reads Truth community. In 2015, Lifeway released Open Your Bible, a Bible study designed to remind women that “God’s Word is for you and for now.”
She Reads Truth points to the bigger picture—that God and His Word are true. Writing that God’s Word “speaks forgiveness over our sin, hope over our despair, worth over our shame, and life over our death,” Myers and Williams point readers towards the permanence of God’s character, covenants, sovereignty, mercy, promises, and Word.
“This book is not a directive to make your life better by reading your Bible every day,” wrote Myers and Williams. “This book is evidence that He gives life to dead things through the power of His Word. Not once, not occasionally, but currently and all the time.”
The partnership with B&H and Lifeway enables She Reads Truth to expand the reach and resources of their ministry serving over one million women through online Bible reading, devotionals, and the She Reads Truth mobile app.
B&H and She Reads Truth are supporting the book with a national publicity campaign, online promotions through the She Reads Truth platforms, national advertising, and a launch team. As part of the pre-sale campaign, for every book pre-bought and redeemed at, a Notetaking Bible will be given to a woman who doesn’t have one through a selection of ministries.

Co-founder and CEO of She Reads Truth, Raechel has a bachelor’s degree in housing and environmental design, and is not afraid to paint a whole house over a long weekend. She longs to cook artisanal meals, but loves Chinese takeout. She lives south of Nashville, Tennessee, with her three favorite people.

She holds bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology, nearly a master’s in religion, and a deep love for a farmhouse east of Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband and their three children. Chief Content Officer of She Reads Truth, Amanda spends her days happily rearranging sentences and explaining that her maiden name really is Bible. 
She Reads Truth is a community of everyday women seeking to deepen their relationship with the Lord and their understanding of the gospel through God’s Word.
